Zing Car Rentals offers additional protection products that you can purchase along with your rental vehicle. Currently, we offer our customers Damage Waiver. Please see below for more information and the cost associated with our insurance and protection products.
DW Coverage
Rental Car Insurance and other Protection Products (US)
Damage Waiver (DW):
Damage Waiver is not insurance. The purchase of DW is optional and is not required in order to rent a vehicle.
You may purchase optional DW for an additional fee. If you purchase DW we agree, subject to the actions that invalidate DW listed on the rental agreement, to contractually waive your responsibility for all or part of the cost of damage to, loss or theft of, the vehicle.
Damage Waiver Cost:
The cost of Damage Waiver varies based on the vehicle you are renting, it will average between $17.00 and $50.00 per day.
The cost for the purchase of DVW is none refundable.
Whats’s Included:
- Loss/Damage to exterior due to collision or theft
- Loss/Damage to exterior fixtures e.g. side mirrors, wipers, antennae due to collision or theft
- Windscreen Damage
- Damage to road wheels (tires, rims, hubcaps)
What’s Not Included:
The following are not covered if the vehicle is returned with loss/damage to these interior items and there is no evidence or report of a break-in
- Mats
- Radio/CD/Tape
- Speakers
- Tools
- Spare Tires
- Vents
- Upholstery, Carpets & other Fabric coverings
- Lost keys
- Damage to undercarriage or engine as a result of negligent operation of the vehicle
